Description
The latest use of technology can be seen in the form that every other individual that you come across is connected to some form of social media, whether it is Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. One of these sites would always be open on every other individual’s mobile phone. However, the basic thing that many people do not realise that while they are connected to their mobile phones; they are cutting themselves off from the real world. It would not be wrong to state here that social connection is disconnecting people from the real social world.
A question that many people, who are not addicted to this small device, ask is if these small mobile devices have cut us from the real people in our lives or not? Some researchers are of the view that the use of mobile devices constantly is the root cause of people disconnecting themselves from the real world. On the other hand, there are some researchers that the mobile device is not the cause of people not interacting with the real world. The cause is to understand and know to use technology in such a way that it balances both the worlds.
The first thing that people should be aware of is to have a clear idea of how to use smartphones effectively. These days, the only purpose that the mobile devices are serving is access to the Internet and social media networks. This particular trend must be changed among the people as this would lead to a change in their lives. However, some individuals are of the view that social media platforms help to maintain the connection. Social media not only helps to create new connections, but it also helps in maintaining old ones. It does not matter if the individual is a 24 years old female or a 65 years old male, the social media ensures that every individual remains connected to their family and friends through various websites.
The social media platform known as Twitter is altogether a different kind of social media website. On Twitter, it is not only about maintaining relationships and connect with old ones; it is much more than that. Twitter allows people to post messages publicly in the global feed of tweets. The users have the option to choose anyone they feel looks interesting. It also allows them to learn about a new job opening, read about different experiences and opinions, and also become part of a group that focuses on various topics and stuff shown at [Best Coursework Website](https://www.courseworkonline.co.uk) . One of the aspects to note about Twitter is that the number of followers and the number of followees plays a very critical role. It decides the worth of the individual on the platform. The more the number of followers is and the less the number of followees is; it means the individual is having a celebrity-like status on the platform. If the situation is reversed (which means the number of followers is less and number of followees is more), then there is a high chance that the individual will not be given a second look even on the platform.
It would not be wrong to state here that the social media sites have created such an environment that people have started to believe that this is all that is left of life. The real-life interactions with people have been completely forgotten. Technology has started to make such a drastic impact on the lives of the people. The idea of bringing people back from the technological-life to the real-world is a difficult thing to do. It would not be wrong to state here that technology has made life easier for people in various ways. Many believe that interacting with their relationships through social media is enough, instead of interacting with them in real life. This thinking has changed the norms and cultures of the social drastically.
Technology has created a huge bubble around every individual that has become addicted to it. The return from it is not only difficult but nearly impossible. The only route to implement is to restrict the use of technology as much as possible. Moreover, this is only possible if the people themselves want to do it, intentionally.
