I think the second board (RC2014 FLOPPY) may be using an incorrect 34-pin connector.  This seems to be a high density connector rather than the standard 34-pin floppy connector used on the V1 board.

The Oscillator model is Mirrored in the library! The +5 & Gnd pins are reversed. If you insert an Oscillator you end up shorting the supply.
The part follows the BOTTOM View NOT the TOP view as it should. :(
