Description
Problem with Waveform displaying DB() and PH() for signals of below -100dB. Using a volProbe in an AC analysis, signals attenuated by more than 100dB displayed in Waveform, wrap around and are stuck at 0dB. The phase response as DB(V(OUT))) approaches and then passes -100dB is also wrong because, in this example it should continue to asymptotically approach -90 degrees. Please compare this with: http://www.ngspice.com/index.php?public_circuit=qiAlMw Note that: 20*log10(MAG(V(OUT))) ; this plots OK but Y axis is not labelled in dB PH(v(out))*360/(2*pi) ; this plots OK but Y axis is labelled in V Run the simulation and then using the blue gear icon in the WaveForm display: place the DB(V(OUT)) and PH(V(OUT)) traces in Pane 2.
