The best thing about a good plan is that it reduces your workload – the efficient referencing system ensures that all of the information you need is at the tip of your fingers. A good plan will normally have a lot links to several articles on each topic, which means you can pick and choose between them. Use one for a good quote, another for the analysis or the rest for a general overview. Of course, use a decent set of references will give you such a good (and quick) understanding that just by looking at your plan, you’ll be able to pick out the key points from across the literature without having to do much thinking for yourself. If you’re clever enough, you can put together the thoughts of many different authors and yet get the credit for the analysis yourself.
