Description
SCLD stands for Solar Charger LED Driver This is a combination of a typical TP4056 lithium battery charger with a Joule Thief adjusted to power a common 12V LED strip. I have tested this with 30cm LED strip (18 LEDs) with a single 18650 Lithium battery (capacity around 1700mAh) and it lasted around 8 hours. I have also tested it with a 3m LED strip (180 LEDs) which is offering a lot of light without any thermal issues on the board, i believe it would stay on for at least 1-2 hours. PCB versions v1.1 & v2.10 are using LM2575 as an input voltage regulator for the TP4056.. in v3.xx this has been replaced by XL2011.
