Description
**Magiczny wskaźnik wysterowania: ATmega8 + Magic LED WS2812**
--------------------------------------------------------------
Scroll down for english version.
Urządzenie to powstało, aby udekorować moje biurko.

Dodatkowo musicie pobrać wsad do ATmega8.

Miłej zabawy! :)
Magic VU meter with ATmega8 and magic LED WS2812
------------------------------------------------
This device has been made, because I wanted to decorate my desktop. I was sure I wanted to have something about LEDs, but, to be honest, simple LED strips are bored. I decided to use WS2812 LED strip with 30 LEDs. And that's about how my magic VU meter has been made. This VU meter can show not only signal level, but it can divide this signal to 3 bands and show thoose in 3 colours.
While analyzing the schematic you can see the 3,5 mm audio jack. Input stage makes mono signal from stereo, and three RC filters divide audio signal to three bands. ATmega8 gets this 3 signals in its analog inputs: A0, A1, A2, reads their levels and converts thoose into the RGB colour values. And that's it!

In the video you can see the designing progress, soldering and connecting it all together.
And you have to download the ATmega8 HEX file.

Have fun! :)
