Description
Another way to set an initial current through an inductor using an initial current appended to the inductor value, activated by the UIC option appended to a tran analysis statement. Note that: i) the initial current defined in the inductor value is only applied if the UIC option is appended to the trans analysis statement; ii) if a .ic statement and the UIC option are used together then the initial current defined by the .ic statement will be applied the instant before that defined by the UIC option. * It is therefore strongly advised to use either the .ic statement or the UIC option and not both in the same simulation.
