This is a almost exact copy of the TP4056. The only difference is that this board has a better protection IC. Basicly it has a better protection sistem.
The TP4056 module is made for charging rechargeable lithium batteries using the constant-current/constant-voltage (CC/CV) charging method. In addition to safely charging a lithium battery the module also provides necessary protection required by...
Controller board for WS2812B color LED-Strip over ESP-01 (ESP8266). Supply 5-12 Volts from external source (onnection over Jack-Connector) or over USB and/orany lythium batery. In this case you neet to append any module on the TP4056.
TP4056 18650 Li-Ion Battery Charger, this is for charging four 18650 batteries at once. Circuit can be used for just one module, just create a new PCB.
Rx_3 set to 2K to limit the charge current to 580mA.
Youtube video here of it in action, along with a retrospective heatsink modification:
Gerber and BOM files:
This is the second version of my TP4056 based lithium battery charger module.
In v1.xx i used a linear voltage regulator (LM7805CV) which got very hot and limited the potential of the module a lot.
In v2.10 i replaced LM7805 with a switching counterpart (XL2011) which resolves most of the input issues allowing for a full range of 5V (via USB) and from 8-45V via the screw terminal or DC-Jack.
Li-Ion battery charger, protector and 5V/2A booster. Use unprotected Li-Ion batteries which are rated for a discharge current of at least 5A !
