Description

This is a simple circuit to protect your device against accidental reverse polarity connections. With the current set of components this circuit can be used for 1.5V to 12V DC input circuits.

Adapting for larger voltage This can be easily adapted to higher voltages by changing the

  • MOSFET (to one with a larger gate voltage). MOSFET currently used can go up to 20V.
  • TVS diode with right clamping voltage. Currently it is maxed at 12V.
