Description

Din Rail Mounted universal dimmer based on the FL5150 IC and 2 x Back to back IGBT, more information at youtube.egglec.com.au FL5150 is the 50hz version a 60hz version is also available,this dimmer as only been try/tested with 240v/50hz. I currrently use this with ESP home to connect it to Home Assistant.

Hallo James,


i have a question that I haven't been able to answer myself yet.
What is the "U8 - AC Main Input circuit with RC filter" part intended for?
To me it looks like he's not connected anywhere?
Are these leftovers and are not needed?

Ah, I'll answer my question myself, because I found a video of you in which you describe this dimmer.
So this is intended as a switch / button input. OK. My question has now been settled.
