When you want to learn about PLC's a good option is test with SIEMENS PLC and the SIMATIC S7-1200 is globally extended. Start to program a PLC is not a hard work, but when you need test the PLC you need lost a lot of time connecting switches and sensors, this is not the best option if you are teaching. Here you have a easy and cheap DIY PCB for train your pupils or test your own projects saving time. I have included the BOM You feel free for change design that have a little problem. The potentiometers works upside down. CCW for up the analog input voltage :)
