The Private Emergency Help System is the system consisting of two parts: 1 the Remote Control (RC - the sender device) 2 the Master Receiver (MR), which receives and redirects the sent data signals. This system should unite the flat building blocks or suburban neighbourhoods. Imagine you have an elderly or disabled family member and they run out of food, maybe have problems with household facilities that they cannot solve alone. There are also instances when elderly people fall over often and there is no one around to help them up. That’s where the Private Emergency Help System comes in to save the day.
The client (family member) will possess the sender device (RC) that will send the emergency signal to the recipient (neighbor). The device has 3 different buttons, each designed according to the emergency level and urgency of the situation; and 1 cancel button (4 in total). By pressing the desired button the signal will be sent to the neighbor who is “in charge” of that person. The recipient will be notified immediately and can act accordingly. As you might have already deduced this device is not for life-threatening situations, however, if someone is not dying does not mean that they are not in the need of help with different tasks. We have had several cases when the elderly/disabled community has reached out to the emergency services, but they could not go on the field as their request was not life-threatening and it was out of their jurisdiction.
