Description
This is a stereo version of a conventional Baxandall EQ. Its purpose is to compensate for rolloff of conventional loudspeaker systems. It has two sets of inputs for each channel, which are "mixed" and summed. One set has a 3.5 mm stereo jack input, the other has 1/4" phone plugs. The Low EQ center frequency is near 70Hz, and the High EQ is centered near 10 kHz. These can be adjusted by changed the values of C1-C4 and C5-C8 as desired. Output connections include both RCA and 3.5mm stereo. The power supply should be driven by a 24 VAC transformer. If desired, U5 and U6 could be replaced by 5V devices, and a 12 VAC transformer could be used. However, the LM4562 noise performance is better at 12V. C9 and C13 must be at least 16V, but 25V is recommended for longer life. R18, C17, R19, and C18 are optional, but may be used to suppress oscillations if present.
