Description

A Mini weather station based on ESP-12. Include a BME280 or BME680 sensor chip on board, one or more DS18B20 onewire sensors. It's powered by a Lithium cell, can be for short time directly charged over present voltage input. A LDO with very low Iq included. Comes with voltage measurement for the connected battery. Hardware jumper for deep-sleep and a programming connector (charge the battery if +5V connected).

Hi! Did you test this circuit for a long period? I'm a little bit afraid of overcharging the LIPO battery

@kimnehring yes, you right, the "simple charger part" can't never replace a full charging and managed unit. Using with caution and risk, not for long time. Make sure that the Voltage after the Diode don't higher as 4.1V. But i striktly recomended to use a TP4056 curcuit or the cheap charger module.
I have this very simple circuit near on all my boards, but only for short time during flashing/reflashing. In other constalations she pulled 3.3V from FTDI directly after the LDO. Only for powering, not charging.
