Description
**Balun is an electrical device that converts between a balanced signal and an unbalanced signal**
- to match the dipole (impedance 73 Ohm) using a transformer 1:1.5 - 73/1.5 = 48.7 Ohm;
- to match the folder dipole (impedance 292 Ohm) using a transformer 1:1.5 - 292/1.5 = 194.7 Ohm and transformer 1:0.25 - 194.7*0.25 = 48.7 Ohm.
**Examples:**
- for Cable pressure connector;
- for Cable soldering connector.
**Specifications:**
- Dipole antenna frequency range 0.5...550 MHz;
- Folder Dipole antenna frequency range 2...550 MHz;
- RF cable: RG5, RG6, 5D-FB, LMR300;
- Power: less or equal 0.25 W;
- Feed line: 50 Ohm (Designed with PCB Toolkit V7.11);
- Used PCB Material: FR-4;
- PCB thickness: 1.6 mm.
