Project description
The goal of this project was to make my own version of the TeensyBat 4.1.
You can find the original files on the website of the project https://www.teensybat.com/
I kept the Teensy 4.1 and ILI9341 of the original one. Every Teensy port are the same from the original (so software should be compatible).
I've redesigned :
- Power supply. 3 differents power supplies. 1A for digital. Very low noise (NCP163) for Mic and amp. And a cheap one for SGTL5000 VDDD.
- 18650 battery
- Amplifier. More amplification with lower noise. I get 40 dB amp and around 87dB SNR at 40kHz (based on Tina-TI simulation).
- based on SGTL5000XNLA instead of SGTL5000XNAA
- PCB is smaller (nearly the size of the screen)
Removed GPS and thermometer (i don't need them)
The making of the project require to solder SMD component
This board have not been tested yet.
