Description
A fully featured board based on ESP8266 and MAX31855 for managing temperature of electric ovens either by on-off or by pid control. The board supports 2 independent temperature probes and 2 relays for 2 independent heaters. All the operations (set temperature, start, stop, status monitoring) are performed by accessing a standard html webpage with a browser (software is found at https://github.com/fededim/EspOven). The software provides a web server with a REST JSON interface with which new client applications such as a mobile app can be developed. An optional I2C/SPI display may be attached to the board by using any of the provided expansion headers or the optional SX1509 digital io extender.
