Generate a steady square clock signal from a quartz oscillator (the ones with two pines). The principle is simple, source the quartz signal to a NOT gate to generate square pulses from the crytal oscillator.

The project uses a 74HC00 (NAND) gate to get the NOT logic and a crystal of 3.579545. The capacitor values used are specific for the crystal in our equipment. You must check the correct values for your particular crystal oscillator.
