Description
ESP 8266 12E based temperature and humidity sensor proposed to be integrated with the Home Assistant home automation project for my home. Modification of the original design to use a DHT22 Temperature & Humidity sensor with bettery voltage and power saving. The original project used the ESP12E put into deep sleep every 5 minutes to save power but failed to meet its objective. This design incorporates fetures from Kevin Darrahs Trig board design to achieve lower power consumption levels with a DHT22 to give temperature/humidity readings. Thus readings of temperature, humidity and battery voltage should be available in Home Assistant. The board is sized to fit a CamdenBoss CBRS01SWH Vented Room Sensor Box with a triple AA battery box to supply power.
