We use 3D printing technologies to design, manufacture and offer assistive devices to people without fingers. Children grow up and their devices need to be renewed every 12 to 18 months. Thanks to your donations and their generosity, our network of makers equips people free of charge by making the request. The primary mission of e-Nable France is to bring together and connect people who need a device with people who can make it. ## About The Project [![Hackberry Hand][product-screenshot]](http://exiii-hackberry.com/) Hand hackberry is a myolectric prosthesis (Prosthesis controlled by muscle sensors placed on the arm to control it) for people with disabilities hand to regain autonomy in everyday life: social, professional, transport, ... These prototypes are still limited for everyday use in comparison to the models on the market, but they have the following characteristics: * The total cost of the prosthesis is less than 1000€ (10 000 to 70 000 € on the market) * The main parts (fingers, palm, socket) are made with a 3D printer * Parts plans, material list and manufacturing tutorials are [online](https://github.com/mission-arm/HACKberry) so that the prosthesis can be made and contribute to the development of the prosthesis by sharing these results (open source) Its goal is to federate a team around the construction of a lower limb prosthesis at low cost with standardized and open source parts. They are easily repairable and therefore accessible to people with limited financial resources. He wants to help emerging countries that do not have access to prosthetic equipment. ## How to make PCB ### Step 1 : download the Gerber files 1. Go to SeeedStudio Fusion PCB : https://www.seeedstudio.com/fusion_pcb.html ***! Special Offer !** : A free assembly service is available for 5 PCB ! Go to this site instead : https://www.seeedstudio.com/free-assembly-for-5-pcbs.html* 2. If you don't have an account, then create one and **sign in** (important !) 3. In section **PCB**, add the gerber files ***Remark 1 :** Once uploaded, you can check the gerber files : click on "Gerber Viewer"* ***Remark 2 :** All settings will update automatically. You can change the color of the PCB if you wish.* 4. Go to the next section **PCB Assembly**. You must be logged in to access this section. ***Remark :** if you are not logged in, you will need to return to step 2.* 5. Select the **PCBA Quantity** and Click on **"Add BOM File"** 6. Check the PCB Cost and the PCBA Cost. Now, you can click on **"Add to Cart"** to order your PCBs ***Remark :** the more PCBs you order, the lower their unit price. For this project, manufacturing is viable from at least 15 manufactured parts.
