Cloned from Digital Fuzz
A modified version of the "Digital Fuzz" from the Experimentalists Anonymous page. Audio is fed to an 8-bit ADC, then straight to an 8-bit DAC (my version replaces the DAC with a resistor ladder). On the schematic, an 8-pole dipswitch is shown in between these two stages, to turn the bits on and off. I've made a version where the dip switch is replaced by 16 mini-jack sockets, a patch bay to mix the bits up, hence "Bitshuffler". I've also improved the pre-ADC biasing and added tone control and wet/dry mix pots.
Use this how you want just be sure to credit Tom (wraa labs) as well as Experimentalists Anonymous where the original is from.
