An Arduino/ESP8266 display board for 3x2 788BS red led matrices connected to max7219 drivers.

This is a battery powered sensor board based on the ESP8266 (ESP-12F).
By using a TPL5111 chip the battery consumption can be reduced to about 1µA when the ESP is not enabled. When the TPL5111 chip receives 5V at it's wake up pin this will turn the ESP on by enabling the 3.3V voltage regulator. At this moment you can run any program you want. Solar system power for esp8266 device like weather sensor. You need 5V 0.15W solar panel and small li-po battery for example 200mAh. Zener diode stabilizes voltage on 4.3, schottky diode give 0.15-0.2V voltage drop because 4.3V is too much for li-ion battery and prevents lekage current from battery. You can use panel also like binary(0/1) light sensor.

Luciole is an RGB controller controlled though WIFI. No need extra applications because the board embeds a Webserver. Luciole has multiple operating mode in addition to basics functionalities that you can find in a classic RGB controller.
