This is a small pcb that is designed to be used on an electric go-kart to display a stopwatch, motor RPMs, and cart speed as well as record this data on an SD card with a time stamp for analysis. The project is Arduino based and is ran off of 7-59 VDC or directly from a 5V source through any of the 5V or VIN pins on the data logger shield (this is not a protected input). It is designed to have w...
Conversion old unregulated Tandy power supply to regulated 9 and 5 volt output.
Has also the little Voltage Sensor on board.
A new life for this power supply after 35 years, spending most of it in the attic. Had only a transformer,
capacitor and rectifier bridge. It had a fuse a long time ago ... Mostly all recycled parts with some new in the mix.

My 1st schematic and PCB design. Just a simple Arduino for us with IC's thatare programmed on a true Arduino board and then slotted into this board. Mainly made this to teach myself about making my own electronics from base components. Comments/tips/suggetions are very welcome, I'd like to get this all right before I send out for the PCB's to be made and shipped.
LM393 Low Power Dual Voltage Comparators DIP-8 test circuit.
Very inexpensive and a good way to learn about OpAmps. Needs 9 volts to operate.
Switch not in schema or PCB, added while building.
Zip file contains a short video of the circuit working.
Tested with DBL358, IR3F02, IR9082, IR94558, JRC4558D, NE5532, KIA393P, HA17393

!! for learning and the fun of it, maybe next time an op-amp?!!
(all recycled parts, LED's are new)
Part of 9 and 5 volt power supply recycling project.
Power from right after rectifier, this circuit and sensing circuit need common ground.
Sense -> Low: Red LED ON = Power ON, Status LED Blue = Standby, No power to terminals.
Sense -> High: Red LED ON = Power ON, Status LED Green = runnin...
