Low-speed, high resolution pixel poi based on WS2812B LED strip.
I always wantedo create a color organ, and recently I started learning about electronics.
I designed this circuit, but never tested it yet (waiting for parts to arrive).
If you have advise, please feel free to contact me here: https://goo.gl/xBLJye
It is possibe that I designed something wrong, so if you find any mistake, please contact with me. Thanks for your help.

Repurposing an old laptop power supply (18vdc) and dozens (actually - hundreds...) of white LEDs from old solar powered Christmas lights, to build an illuminated 'Merry Christmas' sign (a la Big Clive's Arcade sign).
The LEDs are made into strings of 5, each with a current limiting resistor, and a switching transistor to control the string. The transistors are switched from the outputs of multip...

Cascade-able 5 Chip Neopixel board suitable for decorative lamps especially using the ESPEasy NeoFlame plugin.
Should work well with any Neopixel application that is suitable for groups of five LEDs.
This board is for individual WS2812b LED chips. Not the ones pre-mounted on a heat sink pcb with resistor and capacitor already installed.
This PCB is designed to drive five strips with WS2812B LEDs (or their variants) along with a Raspberry Pi (any version) from a single ATX power supply unit.
The five 5V ATX power rails are distributed to the five LED strips. While the data is forwarded between the strips.
The data path starts at the Raspberry Pi, which is connected to the first LED strip. From the end of the firs...
