Description
PIC32MX170F256D-I/PT Breakout Board - Work in progress.
VIN1 and VIN2 are 5-12V inputs to the 3.3V regulator, protected by Schottky diodes D1 and D2.
Q1 and Q2 are P-channel MOSFETs in diode configuration (reverse voltage protection). Q1 keeps /MCLR high whenever VIN1 or VIN2 supplies sufficient voltage, and Q2 protects the voltage regulator from reverse voltages when the PIC32MX170F256D-I/PT is being programmed (and power supplied via PROG_VDD). Note that when 3.3V power is supplied via PROG_VDD, /MCLR must be pulled high/low.
P*nn* are just through-hole pads (PTH-1), not actual components.
