Description
A demonsration of the EasyEDA LM2907 and LM2917 spice models: LM2907EE and LM2917EE. Unlike some other generic LM29x7 models that are available for these devices, spice models, the LM2907EE model does not include the 7.6V zener across the VCC and GND pins whereas the LM2917EE models does include the 7.6V zener across the VCC and GND pins. The models come attached to both 8 pin and 14 pin schematic symbols for both LM2907 and LM2917 device variants. As with most in-house EasyEDA spice models, the LM2907EE and LM2917EE models exhibit realistic behaviour in terms of their drawing excessive currents in response to input, and output and supply rail under/over and reverse voltage connections.
