Description
# RC-2014 comparable 64KB Auto-Store RAM Card with SOIC# **CAUTION! UNTESTED – WORK IN PROGRESS – UNDER CONSTRUCTION** *sent to jlcpcb as part of the my November order.* ``` - This card can be used with 16Bit or 20Bit or 24Bit Addressing. - This card can be built as a 40pin card for 16Bit only. - This card allow for a 64k CP/M system without any ROM swap-out logic. - This card is GREAT for programmers as it allows the Boot Rom to update itself in place. New configurations can be loaded into the STK14C88 and after testing the Current Continence of the STK14C88 can be saved to its nonvolatile Quantum Trap. ``` ``` The Card supports: - One x STK14C88 256kb (32KB) Auto-store Ram DIP or SOIC or ~25mm SOIC Breakout Board and - One x HM62256 256kb (32KB) Static Ram DIP or SOIC with optional DS1213C SmartSocket or DS1216C SmartWatch or - One x AT28C256 256kb (32KB) EEProm or - One x DS-1230 256kb (32KB) nvRAM ``` ``` Chip Select allows address swapping 1-2 3-4 = U1@0000h U2@8000h 1-3 2-4 = U1@8000h U2@0000h Optional 74ls682 for 20Bit or 24Bit Address Decoding For 20Bit the top 4 jumpers on 24pin header must be installed and only the last 4 jumpers are used to select address. (this ties A20-A23 to +5v so DO NOT jumper with z280 etc) Optional SOIC Power Jumpers allow a soldered in SOIC to be disabled so a DIP can be used ``` ``` Software Store / Recall READ from the following five Address U1@0000h U1@8000h 0E38h or 8E38h 31C7h or B1C7h 03E0h or 83E0h 3C1Fh or BC1Fh 303Fh or B03Fh Then READING 0FC0h or 8FC0h Will STORE the STK14C88 Current RAM to nonvolatile Quantum Trap or READING 0C60h or 8C60h Will RECALL the STK14C88 RAM from the nonvolatile Quantum Trap A STORE or RECALL take ~10ms during which time the WAIT signal keeps the CPU paused The STK14C88 acts as a regular RAM with unlimited READS & WRITES BUT try to avoid unnecessary STORE Cycles as the chip is limited to 1,000,000! ```
