LM393 Low Power Dual Voltage Comparators DIP-8 test circuit.
Very inexpensive and a good way to learn about OpAmps. Needs 9 volts to operate.

A breadboard-compatible dual non-inverter audio amp built around an opamp.
Exposes most of its internals on pins for more versatility (variable gain, simple filter, ...). Some parts are optional.
Can be stacked to create a mixer with 1 board per stereo channel and 1 board for a master volume.

The problem is to invert a 0-20v signal using only an opamp powered by a +/-15V DC supply. The circuit can be broken down to three stages:
