| Description: | This is a subcircuit model of a generic DC motor. It has the expected positive and negative power supply pins plus it also has three output voltages representing Torque, Angular Velocity and Position. To tailor it to a particular motor, place the symbol in a schematic, save it and then download the spice netlist. Locate and copy the whole of the motor subcircuit netlist (from the asterisks just above the '.SUBCKT GENERIC_DC_MOTOR' to the asterisks just after the `.ENDS GENERIC_DC_MOTOR` lines. Paste this text into the schematic, select it then set 'Text type' to 'spice' in the right hand properties panel. Change the subckt name in the pasted text and in the symbol name to something like 'MY_DC_MOTOR'. Done. For model documentation, please study the spice subckt netlist. |
