This generic part has a Responsivity defined internally by the `Resp` parameter of 0.38 A/W ,representing the typical Responsivity of silicon photodiode. The third pin is the `PHOTONIP` input pin and represents the optical power input to the photodiode. It is a voltage input, referenced to ground and scaled such that 1V = 1W of optical input power. ### How to adapt the model to specific devices. Place the device in a schematic then save it. Copy the model from the spice netlist for the schematic and paste it into the schematic with `text type = spice`. Edit the model name and the parameters in the pasted-in model to suit the desired device. Edit the name of the spice symbol in the schematic to exactly the same as that of the edited model. Email a copy of the edited model to support to pass for checking and if OK, placement into the spice model library so you can then delete the pasted in copy. Done. |
