Title: | 2 PART EDGE FINGER EXAMPLE |
Description: | How to make a pad for an PCB edge finger with part of the finger covered by solder mask. 2 top layer pads with the same pad number and the same width, overlapping end to end. The pad section at the top end is shorter and the Solder Mask Expansion of that section of pad equal to or greater than: -0.5*(the pad width) This closes off the solder mask over the shorter part of the finger and so covers it with solder mask whilst leaving the longer section as exposed copper.
