Hello, I been looking to create a Top Mounted circuit and I am very much an amateure. On JCSC I foudn many nF components but some reason the 100nF I don't now how to find. Once show up but have 0.1uA (and I don't know what uA means) i.e. C507293 What I need is a 100nF for a circuit that will be powered by 9V The circuit is a basic Amp Circuit. Thank you

Hello ; You are looking for SMD component I guess !! this is what you mean by "Top mounted circuit" It is not necessary to search the exact component value from the library for your schematic, you need just to select the component that much the footprint of your real component for example a 10 MOhm resistor 0805 package is the same as 1 Ohm resistor 0805 package. Please not that the example of **C507293** is a Zener Diode not a capacitor..

@JLCPCBsupport Thank you, Sorry for the lack of terminology.  When I say "top mounted" - i should have said top-Solder-mounted instead of a pin-hole mount.  For example the other one I found C19355 which is pinned, does it have an alternative TOP Solder mounted? The goal is to have it as small as possible, and have you make it for me :-)

@rlong98 The searched component C19355 is related to a 0.1UF(104) +-20% 63v Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors **DIP package** (through-hole technology) so all what you need is to go to LCSC search toolbar and search for "**Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors SMD 0.1uF**" to get the results related to the **SMD** **package** (Surface mounted technology) and then you pickup the component regarding the package size that you need.

@rlong98, If you mean components that are soldered directly onto the PCB without needing any holes in the board for having any wire leads to poke through then the correct terminology is SMD (Surface Mount Device) or SMT (Surface Mount Technology). In this context, "Top mounted" is a meaningless term since SMDs can be mounted on either side of the PCB. It is also open to confusion with devices like high power semiconductors and capacitors which have screw terminals on their top faces: [https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/ste48nm50.pdf](https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/ste48nm50.pdf) [https://www.vishay.com/docs/28371/101102phrst.pdf](https://www.vishay.com/docs/28371/101102phrst.pdf)

You are awesome!  Thank you ... SMD/SMT - thank you for that.
