If you have a long thin part, and it is diagonally positioned in stl, the shipping weight is calculated based on the size of the box, not the actual volume of the model.
This means that shipping weight is wildly wrong. The model volume is always correct. Here is cart with two of the same part, the lower one is diagonal. Furthermore, the diagonal part is cheaper to print!
