Hi,
My application involves a central circuit with about 30 components, and 4 shielded curly cables each with 4 wires, attaching to this central circuit.
It is a very small scale project, possibly only for myself, perhaps for a few friends, at most a few dozen.
I think I can create the central circuit with SMD components, from the parts here, and get it built OK.
(Does easyeda do circuit assembly? Not sure from my reading.)
My main problem is the cabling. If I specify 6-way 2.54mm connectors, the size of the circuit increases substantially, and I find it very hard to attach wires to the plugs. Also very time consuming.
Then I thought, why not use curly shielded usb cables. Should be possible to set connectors on the central circuit. The other ends of the cables need to attach to, variously, DIN connector, 3.5mm stereo, 2.5mm stereo connectors, and another circuit.
What I want is to have these cables made up for me, as I have found I am a very unreliable solderer, and these cables are used in reasonably critical communications situations. Can anybody make any suggestions about custom cabling assembly?
Regards,
Peter
