Hi
When I try to convert to PCB, I keep getting told "Can't find the
package". The problem seems to be with chip Max7401. I find it in the
library, and it says its is Maxm-P8-2 package, then it says it is a DIP which is
correct. But it still says cant find the package. I tried footprint
manager, it shows the chip and pin connections, with no pad errors
shown. Every time I click update it says updated ok. But I still have
the same fault whether I log out or in or delete or replace the part.
What can I do.?
The package name assigned to the schematic symbol must be one that exists in the PCB Libs library. So if the actual package is a dip and it's called DIP in the PCB Libs then you must assign the name DIP to the package attribute of the symbol in your schematic.
