Cannot Open Project
800 4

I've been working on a project the past few days in Offline mode.  I can see my project name in the Open Project window and I can click on it to open it, but the window then disappears and no project appears.  Please tell me what I am doing wrong. OK, I figured it out.  Despite the name, there are many things about this program that are _not_ easy, or at least not intuitive.  Did not expect to have to spend so much time just learning the basics.  Even the tutorials don't mention these problems.  For a salary I can assist with making it more user-friendly.  Contact me if interested. Thanks

"OK, I figured it out." Would you like to share what your solution was?

I could not get my project to open via File/Open Project/File Name which is the way all the other programs I have used in the past worked.  EasyEDA instead wanted me to go to the Opened Project list on the left next to the side menu and double-click on Sheet_1 under my project's name.  Clicking it once did nothing so I thought that was another dead end, but eventually I clicked it twice and that did work.  I also think the program doesn't like slow internet speeds (I prefer Offline mode for this reason) as it bogs down when my aging computer is busy trying to download yet another Windows update. Other frustrations I have run into are:  The arrow keys are backwards; Group and Ungroup commands don't seem to exist so I'm always accidentally disassembling schematic parts line by line; and the Drawing Tools don't turn off unless you right-click the mouse at the end of your drawing, etc.  The FAQs were not helpful in these instances and seem quite useless overall as I am never able to go to precisely the right paragraph that describes what I am trying to do.  I suppose in time I will get used to the program and its quirks, but the learning curve for a college educated retired network engineer like myself seems unnecessarily high. I haven't even gotten to the PCB design stage yet. Hopefully that will go more easily.

Thanks, that's useful.  I was expecting to find it in one of the dropdowns or the Drawing Tools menu. Didn't even look in the Wiring Tools menu.
