Hi, this is my project [https://u.easyeda.com/account/user/projects/index/detail?project=979a4395a22b48aebfca584fd612b9c7&folder=all](https://u.easyeda.com/account/user/projects/index/detail?project=979a4395a22b48aebfca584fd612b9c7&folder=all) and i want to order a PCB, but i'm unsure, how to pick the SMT parts that will be automatically assembled in the factory and parts, that will be sent to me for manual assembly? What i want: I want JLCPCB to manufacture the PCBs and to factory assemble basic parts. I want JLCPCB to also solder on the mosfets. I would prefer them to assemble all the parts but i read there is an additional cost for each extended part, because they need to swap the components on the robot feed. Is there a way to choose if the basic/ extended part will be factory assembled on the PCB? For example "AO3401A - Yes; XT30U-M - No"

Hello
Thank you for sharing your post here, As for PCB assembly here is a referal video about the needed files for assembly: [https://youtu.be/Y2G-SiKUJPk](https://youtu.be/Y2G-SiKUJPk) Please consider to use the parts available in JLCPCB parts library: [https://jlcpcb.com/parts/all-electronic-components](https://jlcpcb.com/parts/all-electronic-components) You could also check the parts availibilty from EasyEDA search library. If a components is missed in the library and you need it then you could order it from extrenal source and get it assembled by JLCPCB and here is a demonstration video about how to get parts from external suppliers: [https://youtu.be/jIwip1Xcq8w](https://youtu.be/jIwip1Xcq8w) As for the absic parts, you could set the filter in our Parts Library to display only the basic parts, please consider that if a part is not available as basic part then you can't get it assembled as basic part. Thank you

@tugo.strbenc, Reading (2.2) - including Appendix A - in (2) in: [https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-ask-for-help-and-get-an-answer-71b17a40d15442349eaecbfae083e46a](https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-ask-for-help-and-get-an-answer-71b17a40d15442349eaecbfae083e46a)

may help you understand how to specify which parts are fitted to one variant of a PCB compared to another.

Ok, now i've read through Andy's tutorial and checked for the errors. And thank you JLCPCB support for the very informative video. I should have moved to the next ordering step and i would have seen the option. I still have a concern. I've watched the video from [Robert Feranec](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FVaMbBCmJ4). He had an issue, where the parts he hadn't picked for the assembly got excluded from the delivery package. So he only got the PCB with the assembled parts but not the parts he wished to assemble by hand. Is this still an issue with JLCPCB? Thank you in advance.

yes they cannot ship loose component with the PCBs. You need to order these separately from LCSC
