As it seems impossible to ship components and PCBs together anymore, I thought I'd get the parts loaded at JLCPCB even though we will have to add connectors back in the UK.
However one part shows on the preview rotated through 90 degrees. I have checked the schematic and layout and they are all fine so how do I correct this ? Part number is C6186 if that helps.
Thanks
First let me thank you fro the time you spent to write for us here ;
About the part rotation, you need to move to your Pick and Place file and check the part's rotation, any change in the Pick and Place file will impact the assembly viewer so if you change the rotation of a chip from 0 to 180 degrees then when you re-upload the new Pick and Place file you will see the chip flipped 180 degrees, you can do this with the parts that has a wrong orientation and I advice you to read the following description that tells some tips about the SMT Assembly parts orientation : https://support.jlcpcb.com/article/99-does-the-red-dot-means-pin-1-in-the-placement-previewer
Thank you again Mike, anything else, just let me know ^_^
