You need to use EasyEDA editor to create some projects before publishing
EasyEDA installs but does not run

I have tried Googling for "EasyEDA does not run" and "EasyEDA does not open" but found nothing that applies to this. I am running 64-bit Fedora 29 with the Cinnamon GUI. I downloaded EasyEDA and ran the install.sh as described in the file "How to install and uninstall.txt", and installation proceeded without error.  When I click on the EasyEDA icon in the GUI menu, nothing happens - no error message, but no EasyEDA either.  The menu window closes and I am left staring at my desktop wallpaper.  What am I doing wrong?

Exact same issue here, running Linux Mint 19.3. EasyEDA installs, but won't start. Any ideas?

Found in another post: install this too: sudo apt install libgconf-2-4

I'll try the "sudo apt install libgconf-2-4" fix after I get dnfdragora to actually install apt, but that is an o/s issue, and beyond the scope of this forum.
