I have tried Googling for "EasyEDA does not run" and "EasyEDA does not open" but found nothing that applies to this. I am running 64-bit Fedora 29 with the Cinnamon GUI. I downloaded EasyEDA and ran the install.sh as described in the file "How to install and uninstall.txt", and installation proceeded without error.  When I click on the EasyEDA icon in the GUI menu, nothing happens - no error message, but no EasyEDA either.  The menu window closes and I am left staring at my desktop wallpaper.  What am I doing wrong?
