I know that this isn't what the desktop version is going to be, but it would be cool if someday the web-based version could work like the Google Docs offline. On another note, I was logged into the editor while this attack was occurring, and despite having some issues saving, I could still work, which was nice. It's a fantastic tool you guys have here.

@Frappeyum EasyEDA web version do allow offline like Google docs now. but can't allow to save. The desktop version will allowed you to save your file to your desktop, so you will back a version of your designs too, no any more risk when some internet problems. In EasyEDA, there are many teams to build their designs togher, this is a big point why you choose EasyEDA. The desktop version function will be the same as web site. @mcu8031 @Usekgb EasyEDA has a https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/introduction.htm#Crash-Recovery which will find the lost designs, normal we save a copy every 5mins on your browser, no way to lots all, just a few.

I'd love to try the desktop version. (Windows, in my case) I use EasyEDA at work and i often have connection issues due to security stuff :) I'm sorry to hear that your great service suffered from a DDoS - Attack but glad to hear there will be a desktop version!

Glad you guys are on top of it. Interesting to see the struggles of cloud-hosted solutions. On one hand, deployment is incredibly straightforward: very few people will lag on version numbers (if you support that). On the other, you have security & DoS challenges. Maybe we'll see more heavy-weight browser-side JavaScript to minimise the "chattiness" of these solutions. Something to bear in mind for my work :) Would love to see the Desktop version and understand how you've put it together to be in sync with the Web version.

@all @hugh_66 We have spent 6 months for the desktop version, the desktop version has the same features and experience with web based. All files will be sync to the server by default ( We even will think about to allow never sync to the server, some users think about sensitive, but without sync to server, they need to backup , do the version, nerver to use it any where, nerver team with others, Technology is a double-edged sword） Thanks for help to support EasyEDA.

I would like to try the Windows and Linux desktop version, for the time i am not online, lot of thanks for this great tools, i search just a way to build a 4 layer PCB but i don't find a way to put on second layer only the GND and on third one only the DC power line with the autorouter have you a solution out of tracing manualy the two inner layer ?
