Help needed with simple op amp simulation problem

Hello everyone, I am new to analysing circuits using a simulator and am stuck, and was hoping if someone could possibly help me. I have made a simple op amp circuit where the gain is x2 for the voltage on the non-inverting input. What I am struggling with is getting the correct read-out for my voltage output. In the simulation (link bottom of message), you will see that I have added two voltage probes, one on the non-inverting input (V1) and the other on the output of the op amp (V2). V1 GIVES ME 5 V as expected, but V2 gives me 0 V where I expected to get 10 V. Could someone please help me and tell me if I am missing something. Is it something specific to using an op amp in a simulation, or maybe have I used my V+ (+15 V) and V- (-15 mV) incorrectly? Apologies if this problem is very simple and has a very quick fix that I am missing. I have read the handbook a couple of times and am struggling to find the answer myself. Thanks in advance. Hi Tim04444, There are a couple of beginner's errors in your circuit. 1) You have no power supplies. Please see: https://docs.google.com/document/u/1/d/1OWZVVFRAe_2NW3WratpkA_SGuHa5AcRow5ZRfvcoVTU/pub#h.3rdcrjn 2) You have used an opamp symbol with no spice model attached to it. If you examine the netlist (`Super Menu > Miscellaneous > Netlist for Document > Spice...`), you will see that there is no opamp referred to in it and there is also no spice model for the opamp included in the netlist. @andyfierman Hi Andy, Thank you very much for the info. I see now that I was getting my power sources all wrong - I now realize the Vcc net is just a connection to another Vcc net (named however). I have fixed the problem in a new schematic (link below): https://easyeda.com/editor#id=3c65833bca26438385c2a86479ffa08e Thanks again, Tim
