I have some cases where I'd like to use Holtites, which are intended to press fit into plated PCB holes. The problem is that the Holtite manufacturer specifies a tolerance of +/- 0.05mm for the holes (finished size after plating), but the JLCPCB specs are +/- 0.08mm. Is there any way to accommodate this? Typically this would only apply to one hole size (e.g., 1.47mm finished) on a given PCB, if that helps.
I believe some people solder Holtites, but that's a bad idea for a couple of reasons, so I'd rather not.
