How do I specify DNP (Do Not Populate/ Do Not Place)

I have components in my design that I don't want to be part of my BOM. How do I designate them as DNP so they are not part of the BOM?

There used to be a Not Fitted parameter in the right hand panel but that was removed a few versions ago. You could use the **Add Parameter** option and tick the **In Bo**M box to create a Key = **Fitted**, Value = **Y/N** box: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/IVqUiz5bamimLuST2Ty3FjvnJEtqRlYSTIgIelPa.png) This will list the fitted status in a separate column in the BoM and a simple spreadsheet function could be used generate a separate sheet for a BoM with the DNP entries masked out. Or, what I have done in some designs is simply prefix the value with DNP_ so for example a 10k resistor would be DNP_10k. In both cases, keep the rest of the BoM info the same so that if the part does need to be ordered then the info is all still there.
