Minimum order number

In the SMT library there are a number of parts that have a minimum order number. For example the TPS54394PWPR has minimum order number of 2000, and yet you only have 32 in stock.

First of all, why would any small-scale/hobbiest creator need 2000 buck regulators? At those numbers I can go to pretty much any PCB manufacturing house and I wouldn't be stuck with a limited catalog of parts. On top of that, if you only have 32 in stock, how could anyone ever use this item, since (AFAIK) there's no way to order new items that are out of stock?

Hello ; Please carefully read the parts description, the minimum order quantity is 1 piece as it shows the below image token from our official Parts library that you can visit through the following link : [https://jlcpcb.com/parts](https://jlcpcb.com/parts) ![jlcpcb.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/NgT68UIzz3mu5fhspETbuU5ZNxCKyZlOft6zLhiH.png)

That wasn't the case when I posted the question. The question still stands. Why are there parts with minimum orders such that it would be impossible to use them with your service? Here's another example: ![MinOrder.JPG](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/wk90xDFKHoXyrY3Pr7GUkzkD2lVoYXKTXA89tvz9.jpeg)

We are counting on your understanding.

You guys are doing a fine job, don't take this question as a criticism or insult. It just seems strange that there are parts that couldn't be used, even if one wanted to, on your SMT parts list. I just don't understand if it's a mistake, if I'm reading it wrong, or exactly what the intention is...

@Kaisha Your comments are always welcomed and we are happy to hear from you because the customers suggestions are the key to make improvements. You didn't read the part description wrongly, each part has a minimum order quantity "MOQ" and this MOQ could be high for some parts relatively to the supplier. But you still able to very the this Minimum Order Quantity and the ability to use the parts that have stocks less then the MOQ by sending Email to [henry@jlcpcb.com](mailto:henry@jlcpcb.com) and you insert in your Email all the part references that you want to check, this will help you to save time and to get a precise guidance. We are counting on your understanding.
