Minimum quantity order in the recent "Add to My Part Lib" feature

The recent feature "Parts Manager" feature is promising, particular for the many cases where we want to use a particular component that is out of stock at JLCPB. However, I noticed that the minimum quantities required of many components are of the order to thousands. For example, I'm working on a board that uses the MPU-6050 sensor that is currently out of stock for SMT Assembly. The minimum quantity to add it to My Part Lib is 5000 units! A full reel. Just like many of us here I'm a hobbyist. Why would I need 5000 units? Even for pros, JLPCB is used by many for prototyping only. I don't think they would order 5000 units. This type of requirement kills the feature and it would be nice if JLCPCB updated these minimum quantities to reasonable numbers.

Hello and thank you for writing to us here. As you already mentioned the pre-order feature for electronics parts is a newly released feature and we still working on improving it, the minimum ordering quantities are set by our logistics team members depending on the consumption history of the parts. This will certainly get better by the days :) Thank you again.
