Please explain a bit more about what version and how it was configured that you were using and what version you are using and how it is configured now. Screenshots of you file paths etc would be helpful. it was 6.4.25 - pre standard and pro versions  Obviously, I cannot obtain the paths as I can no longer access the program. the projects are in c:\easyeda-data\projects but I have no idea where the symbols etc are Hopefully you may understand the issue as the links you provided have no relationship to the question as these relate to both new versions - pro - and standard and not the old version

OK, I have also downloaded the new standard version, and this has transferred the files correctly.
