Hello dear friends, How can I keep trace of the project's  modified thrught the version? I would like to see the modified aported in the time at the projectes, because this is very important for a design engineer. Thanks a lot Ciro

Hi! I always save a new board file when updating the version number. Therefore, you have old versions at hand and you can revisit those old versions any time. Regards, Markus Virtanen HW / Electronics Designer

And let me add that you have also historical records option embedded in EasyEDA: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/tBrvYP4316Fpeui2vZ2T1lsR0JA03S3Q1q3SbiBc.png) But I do suggest to take a backup file from your project before you start overwriting anything from the previous savepoints.

EasyEDA also supports Version Control: [https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Introduction/Version-Control/index.html](https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Introduction/Version-Control/index.html)

Dear all... Thanks for your prompt reply. I checked and I do as you sogest me but I have two problems: First, when I update the PCB out this banner... ![Immagine 2020-12-27 191544.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/2YmbE2NzY7z1qcdI5k6R7COgjfDoVHWPDl4m1amU.png) <br> and if I check the componentes list, I see the componentes double. <br> ![Immagine 2020-12-27 191643.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/7Et4YUVJeBSxPJ58HRSjEV15Nd6HiRzTxlAQw3rv.png) ![Immagine 2020-12-27 191643.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/68tJGhFmcQxYtrw4TpkJo24e2RnUPrCw7sFBDeGn.png) Surely, I do a mistake but  _don't understand where... please, can you help me?_ _Thanks  Ciro_ <br> <br>

You have 2 sheets with the same circuit in your project. Check the component prefixes in both sheets and you will probably find that for some reason, the sheets are duplicates. I have no idea why this may be because your project is private and you have not described the steps you have taken that led you to this point.

If you intended to duplicate the schematic sheets then you will have to rename any duplicated netlabel to avoid nets shorting together and then read: [https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Schematic/Components-Prefix/index.html](https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Schematic/Components-Prefix/index.html)<br> <br>

@andyfierman Yes, I have duplicate the schematic and pcb sheet to rename it with new version, but I think this is a mistake. So, I don't understand as is possible to add the new version for keep trace of the modify. Please, may you explain me better?  Thanks Ciro

@Andromedicitalia, The best thing for you to do is to 1. create a simply dummy project with a simple schematic and a PCB made from it and to then;  2. follow the Tutorial in: [https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Introduction/Version-Control/index.html#Create-New-Verison](https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Introduction/Version-Control/index.html#Create-New-Verison) to learn how to make, switch and manage the different versions of this simple project. Whwn you understand how to use the Versioning tool you can go back to your real project and sort it out.
