Nope, sorry, it is _not_ good with a PC mouse: The steps are too coarse. I’ve tried a PC mouse, too. Especially the difference from 100% to 200% to 300% is too big (delta 100), ---> compare that to the (relatively) smooth 50% to 100% (delta 50). A Mac mighty mouse (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File</a>:MIGHTY_MOUSE_WIRELESS.jpg) is much smoother than _any_ other mouse, where a PC mouse has 1 step the tiny scroll ball has 8 micro steps for the same rotating angle (horizontal and vertical direction, both directions work to zoom in easyEDA). But that’s not the problem, the problem is : One step == delta 50, the next step == delta 100. --> Zoom 150% (250%, …) is missing (personally I’d prefer steps of 25% …). Hotkeys are working, but: Too coarse, 100 - 200 - 300 ... a) mighty mouse hasn't a right button, most of the drawing need right button. b) zoom is very coarse, we will try to find a solution. c)about CL's adding wires, we don't like to add a wire like this. when the schematic is complex, we can hardly to wiring and It can't work under PCB layout. BTW, CL is awesome.

a) OT, FYI: The Apple Mighty Mouse has 4 functional “buttons”. It has pressure sensors and capacitive sensors to distinct between left, middle and right click (depending on which finger is on the surface). It has an additional “squeeze” sensor at the side. The micro ball works using Hall effect sensors, no mechanical "click". There is also a small piezo speaker in it to make the “click” sound because you couldn’t hear / feel the sensors in action. Hey, I was about to post a request regarding the overly sensitive zooming of EasyEDA and the Mighty Mouse. Doesn't seem like anything happened since this was posted 3 years ago. But it is one of the biggest annoyances I face with the software still. So here's my +1.

@Martin No Mac here. Just windows and Linux :) And I can't catch very well . Do you mean the step should be small? not from 200% to 300% directly?

It's hard to describe; it is really, really sensitive, and seems to jump back and forth while zooming in a given direction. I will analyze the behaviour and report back. But I think if you get your hands on a mighty mouse or apple track pad, behaviour will be the same on Windows. In the best of worlds, zooming would behave like google maps.

@Martin Can you give a screen video to report. This will help us to find what is the problem BTW, do you think you like the behavior in windows.

I'll do that. Meantime, I think it is increments that might be wrong. A continuous zoom might be best.

@Martin At first stage, we just want to make it the same as Windows.
