Shape cutting

Hi, This is my first experience with PCB production. Is the produced PCB always a rectangle, or is the shape of the produced board linked to the "board outline"? In other words, is it possible to produce a board with a defined, non-rectangular shape? Thanks for the help, Best regards, Laurent

The shape of the PCB is directly defined by the Board Outline. Use the Hole tool to add round holes. You can also have arbitrary shaped holes in it using the Solid Region tool set to NPTH. Please see (2.2), (4) and (6) in: [https://easyeda\.com/andyfierman/Welcome\_to\_EasyEDA\-31e1288f882e49e582699b8eb7fe9b1f](https://easyeda.com/andyfierman/Welcome_to_EasyEDA-31e1288f882e49e582699b8eb7fe9b1f) and Design Flow in the Tutorial for more about PCB design using EasyEDA.
