I want to design a pcb that just has solder pads, pairs are connected. I have a component already on a PCB with headers...I want to create solder pads for this, as well as solder pads for some PCB screw terminals.I have watched many tutorials and I could probably get started if I had components to put on the board, but I do not. The circuit board I have has 16 legs on one side, and 8 on the other. I want holes to attache the circuit board, and matching holes for the PCB screw terminals, attached on for one...it seems pretty simple...I drew a nice one in the PCB designer, I have the pads all layed out, just dont know what to do next. DO I HAVE to draw a schematic? Or can I go straight to PCB design and place the holes where I need them?
Thanks
This is what I want, but I dont think it is right as when I generate a PCB, there are no traces showing...missing something simple I guess...
Thanks

"...when I generate a PCB, there are no traces showing..."
Do you mean when you generate the Gerbers?
